iCivics is excited to host the People’s Pie Pizza Party Giveaway from October 24 to November 28, 2022 offering five classrooms the chance to win $50 for a pizza party!

To enter, all you have to do is play People’s Pie with your students during October 24 to November 28 and share about your class experience here. We’d love to hear about the memorable moments during gameplay, class feedback, and your personal takeaways.

Winners will be chosen at random through an automated selection process and alerted via email on Thursday, December 1, 2022.

Here’s how the giveaway works:
Teachers will assign People’s Pie to their classes. As students play through the game they will set tax rates, fund projects while seeking to keep residents happy and avoid burdensome national debt. The intent of People’s Pie is to help students learn what that goes into balancing the budget of the federal government. After in class game play, teachers will share feedback and reflection on the class experience. Use this form to share your feedback and enter the giveaway. Teachers can describe memorable moments during gameplay, class feedback, and your personal takeaways.

Prizes include: $50 gift card to be used towards a class pizza party or a sweet treat of your choosing.

By entering iCivics’ People’s Pie Pizza Party Giveaway, you will be bound by these Terms & Conditions and you acknowledge that you satisfy all eligibility requirements.

Eligibility. Any K–12 educator located in the United States or the United States’ Minor Outlying Islands may enter. An eligible educator may submit as many completed student maps as they’d like but each map may only be submitted one time. Entries must be submitted by educators. No student entries will be considered. Employees of iCivics and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

Prizes and winner selection method.  iCivics will award a $50 giftcard to be used towards a pizza party to ten classrooms.

Winners will be chosen at random through an automated selection process and alerted via email no later than Wednesday, December 7, 2022. Prizes will be fulfilled by iCivics directly.

How to enter. You may enter the People’s Pie Pizza Party Giveaway via the entry method described below.

Miscellaneous. By submitting an entry into the People’s Pie Pizza Party Giveaway, you agree that iCivics’ decisions related to each Giveaway and all distribution of prizes are final. Each winner agrees that by participating in a Giveaway that iCivics may use the teacher’s name and school name for its promotional purposes without additional compensation, including posting in a winner’s list, except where prohibited by law. Student information will not be collected or shared.
